Trauma-informed Therapeutic Arts Coaching

Maya McDaniel Bailey, MA, NCC, LPC

Maya’s coaching style is like gentle but bright light of passion, purpose and creativity. She holds space for whatever energy you bring, and invites in all the mess. The hurt parts and the parts seeking support and vitality are all welcome.

At Sunflower Studio we know that expression in a safe container can be just the grief ritual you need for whatever you’re holding.

Today’s world challenges us to stay grounded in Love even when we have so much to grieve. Maya brings her experience running groups for the LGBTQIA+ community, peer support for caretaking professionals. and her personal experience as a NICU mom to every circle.

Never done anything like this? No problem, come ready to meet fellow bad-ass creatives on a healing journey. Maya uses a mix of peer-to-peer support, creativity, and grief ritual including mindfulness, and therapeutic arts practice. She will go over group norms, expectations and safety at the beginning of each group. Never any pressure to participate, you’re always welcome to come and observe or bring a friend to try it together.

Love and Gratitude,

Team Sunflower Studio
