Rebecca's primary goal is to establish an environment of warmth, safety, and authenticity with her clients. From there they can collaboratively explore and address whatever is preventing them from the life they desire. Rebecca is a person-centered therapist and most often utilizes a combination of CBT, mindfulness, and ACT strategies while pulling in components of other theories when appropriate to each client's unique situation.
Rebecca holds a certification in perinatal mental health and has experience working with individuals going through pregnancy, postpartum, parenthood, infertility, and loss. Rebecca also enjoys working with clients to address concerns including depression, anxiety, interpersonal/relational issues, life transitions, and self-actualization. Rebecca holds a master's degree in counseling psychology from Western Michigan University. She obtained her undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Michigan Technological University.
